Dr. Kahiu is a trained veterinarian and registered veterinary surgeon, having served as a National Chairman of the Kenya Veterinary Association as well as a Vice President representing Africa in The World Veterinary Association. He is a seasoned development project manager. Dr. Kahiu has co-authored three publications: Innovation Africa – Enriching Farmers Livelihoods, Farmer First Revisited: Innovation for Agricultural Research and Development and Incentives and disincentives for stakeholder involvement and Participatory Research: Lessons from potato-related participatory research from Bolivia, Ethiopia, Peru and Uganda.

Ms Bartos is a member of the International Energy Association (IECA) and is active in the Commercial Credit Committee in Ohio, USA. Marty Bartos has two graduate Degrees in Economics and Development studies and an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering.
